WHO ARE WE?
Rescue One Equipment is an evacuation systems company that was established in 1996 with a view to eliminating unnecessary deaths caused by smoke inhalation in the mining industry in South Africa.
At Rescue One Equipment we provide life-saving evacuation systems and emergency evacuation products that guarantee safety and provide miners with reliable self-rescue competence (attitude, knowledge and skills) .

LIFELINE® SKI ROPE
LIFELINE® Ski Rope is a directional rope guidance system which consists of 8mm braided rope mounted to the rock face) which will specifically define the recommended escape route. There are two options available namely side-wall installation and roof installation. The installation of LIFELINE® provides directional guidance and enables escapees to maintain balance, speed of escape, maximum travelling distance to the Self-Contained Self- Rescuer (SCSR)
LIFELINE® STEEL
LIFELINE® Steel is a directional steel rope guidance system which consists of 5mm PVC coated Steelrope mounted to the rock face which will specifically define the recommended escape route. The installation of LIFELINE® Steel provides directional guidance and enables escapees to maintain balance, speed of escape, maximum travelling distance to the Self-Contained Self- Rescuer (SCSR).
FRONTLINE®
FRONTLINE® is an early warning detection system that will detect smoke/co from up to 1000m away from the section of the Mine where people are working. The system releases a very powerful fragrance in the Intake Air Flow System of the Mine. The fragrance is atomised in the air flow and will travel along the intake airways at the same speed as the air flow. The fragrance will then enter the working section, warning people of smoke/co that is being detected up to 1000m away.
REFUGE BAY KITS
This refuge bay kit includes a 220V Control Panel Safe Unit, complete with battery charger, battery back-up (12 hours), test facility, alarmed enclosure lid, automatic and manual activation. It has a control panel stand, a gel / Lead acid battery 105 amp / hour, a three directional LED module light box with siren and an underground high volume fan 12V Complete with Non Return Flap

This underground refuge bay fan is 12V and complete with a Non Return Flap (Available to order separately)
SOS RESCUE TRAILER
SOS (Support on Surface) Rescue Trailer, aimed at supporting miners that are trapped underground in a coal mine. The trailer will provide life sustaining supplies through the borehole situated above the refuge bay. The rescue trailer has the capacity to provide miners that are trapped underground with the necessary air and supplies, in order to provide rescue personnel with valuable time to find other means of getting miners out safely.
